OVERVIEW

It’s a short sail from Mauritius to Reunion, an undiscovered jewel to most of the world. Home to the Indian Ocean’s highest peak and the erupting Piton de la Fournaise, one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Dramatic mountains and gorges offer incredible hiking trails  to discover steep, majestic waterfalls.

Our trip continues to Richard’s Bay, with the deepest natural harbor in the Southern Hemisphere, this is our entry point to Zululand, South Africa. We spend a few days exploring Durban, home to the 2010 World Cup. We end this leg of our circumnavigation in Cape Town, having sailed past the Cape of Good Hope. Cape Town, defined by Table Mountain, offers a wonderful launching off point to see the rest of South Africa, or to fly home for the holidays.
